Kindergarten groups
Age-appropriate themed tours and exhibition tours are offered for kindergarten and pre-school groups. The group size is limited to a maximum of 15 children, larger groups are divided and supervised in seperatly. All children receive a name tag at the beginning and can therefore be identified. The cultural education activities, including the creative activities that round them off, last 60 minutes.
Educators can discover about the programs developed for kindergarten and preschool children free of charge and without obligation at introductory cultural education events at the start of each new temporary exhibition. The museum‘s office can also provide you with information on the current offer and make? individual bookings.

In an age-appropriate way, the children learn why the Hornmoldhaus has such an unusual name, how it was built and who lived in it.
How does a museum work?
Using selected objects, the children learn about the most important tasks of a museum - COLLECTING, PRESERVING, EXPLORING and MEDIATING.
Stone Age, Romans, Middle Ages
Archaeological topics can be taught in the Stadtmuseum for children's groups with guided tours and educational programs.
